In-App Purchases Very Expensive

The in-app purchases, which essentially unlock the function of the app for the user, are prohibitively expensive. I contacted the developer about this, because I honestly thought there was an error or bug in the app, and they did not reply to my question. After I sent the email, LOVOO did give me a free month of VIP membership but LOVOO did not explain whether or not their ridiculously high prices where a mistake of the app or their actual price. There are simply not enough real people using this app to make a major investment such as that worthwhile.
